Job description

Anderson Knight is excited to be partnering with a respected organisation in Glasgow to recruit a skilled ER Partner for a 24-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As an Employee Relations Partner , you’ll play a key role in supporting leaders and HR colleagues across the organisation, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters. You’ll work collaboratively to manage risk, ensure compliance, and foster a positive working environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality advice and case management on a wide range of ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance.
  • Partner with managers to build capability and confidence in handling ER matters proactively.
  • Ensure ER policies, practices and outcomes align with employment law and organisational values.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ER frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Support change initiatives and organisational projects from an ER perspective.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a dedicated Employee Relations or HR Advisory role, ideally within a complex or unionised environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with excellent judgement.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a varied ER caseload.
