IT Teacher – Alternative Provision Setting

Location : HA3, Harrow

Start Date : Immediate or October 2025

We’re looking for an IT Teacher to join a supportive alternative provision centre in North West London. You’ll be working with small groups of students who thrive on a practical, creative approach to learning—and who need a teacher who can bring patience, consistency, and spark to their classroom.

What you’ll be doing :

Delivering engaging IT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (functional skills and GCSE)

Using creativity to make IT relevant, practical, and enjoyable for learners

Supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs, helping them re-engage with education

Building positive relationships and routines that encourage confidence and achievement

What we’re looking for :

QTS (or QTLS) with IT / Computing specialism

Experience teaching in mainstream or alternative provision (AP / PRU / SEND)

Strong classroom management with a calm, supportive approach

Flexibility, resilience, and a sense of humour (non-negotiable!)
