What you’ll do on a typical day :
Deliver timely and accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting across payroll, agency costs, small customer financials, journals, invoicing, and KPIs, ensuring GL accuracy, double‑entry compliance, and audit readiness
- Provide meaningful insight into labour usage, cost drivers, and variances, clearly highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities to support Finance and Operations decision‑making
- Own payroll reconciliation and variance management, proactively manage payroll queries, and challenge managers and teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to finance policies
- Act as a proactive team player who can work independently, manage workload effectively, support colleagues across Finance, and continuously learn across different finance disciplines
What you need to succeed at GXO :
Strong experience in Excel (data entry and data manipulation)
Proven experience within finance administration, with strong attention to detail (accurals, pre-payments and payroll admin beneficial)Good time management and driven by pace and accuracyWorking towards AAT qualification
