• A Project Manager is required to join a design consultancy working on a 1-year contract, responsible for;

Managing the development and delivery of HV & EHV projects (cable, overhead, plant and civil) to time, cost, safety and quality

Developing HV and EHV project initial functional requirement into compliant and cost-effective engineering solutions

Interfacing and communicating effectively with stakeholders (including customers, internal engineering and industrial teams) to develop and deliver HV & EHV projects

Undertaking the role of CDM or principal designer for developed HV & EHV projects

Coordinating external service providers and administer commercial

Be qualified to a minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Have at least five years of relevant work experience managing large and complex HV and EHV substation projects throughout the full project lifecycle from feasibility to energisation

Have a strong understanding of electrical transmission and distribution plant items operations, controls and associated systems such as AIS / GIS switchgear, Protection & Control, Power Transformers, Underground power cables and Overhead lines
