£15.40 per hour

We are looking for a number of reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operatives to join our clients team at a busy food processing factory in Colchester. Working as part of the Hygiene Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all production areas, equipment, and facilities meet strict hygiene and food safety standards.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, suited to individuals who are comfortable working night shifts in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out deep cleaning of production areas, machinery, equipment, and factory facilities in line with company schedules and hygiene procedures.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all hygiene and cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and recorded accurately.
• Adhere to food safety, health & safety, and company policies at all times.
• Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment.
• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly to management.
