Job descriptionAn Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months Up to date mandatory training A referenceable work history At least 3 months experience within a similar setting Experience with residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities If you do not have a valid DBS and / or training, assistance is available with online training available at a subsidised fee and certificates are yours to keep. Please note that we do not offer sponsorships This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates. You will be working from 22 : 00 to 07 : 00 on various days throughout the week. Rate of pay for this role is £12.85 per hour

We are looking for experienced residential care assistants to work for our client in the Manton of Worksop, within their homely care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home can house 49 residents. The dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promotes wellbeing for their residents in a supportive and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities and assist with activities of daily living to stimulate and improve quality of life.
- Follow individual care plans and provide a level of care tailored to residents’ needs.
- Record and report any problems as they arise.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of care within the home.
