If so, we are looking for someone to join our Dartry / Haverhill depot as a Laundry Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor / Depot Manager with the day-to-day running of the laundry, ensuring that all products are washed to a high standard, and in accordance with PHS Company Procedures. You will lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to health and safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure all laundry plant and equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and Besafe safe systems of work

Conduct daily and weekly checks, recording results using the appropriate forms

Record and report any breakdowns, calling out engineers as necessary

Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the wash, dry, and pack processes

Ensure all laundry staff are fully competent to carry out their tasks and adhere to company procedures

Liaise with colleagues and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements :

Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act. Familiarity with manufacturer's instructions for laundry machinery. (This is not a mandatory requirement as full training will be provided)

Excellent computer literacy skills

Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Strong leadership and motivational skills

Experience in a similar role or industry would be an advantage
