A respected Yorkshire law firm is seeking an experienced  Private Client Solicitor (7+ PQE)  to join their established Wills & Probate team based in York or Malton. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor who thrives on complex probate work and is keen to play a key role in a close-knit, forward-thinking team.

The Role :

You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters with a focus on high-value and complex probate work. You’ll provide expert legal advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handling complex probate and estate administration matters
• Advising on wills, inheritance tax planning, trusts, LPAs and Court of Protection work
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
• Working within compliance frameworks and utilising case management systems
• Actively contributing to marketing and business development efforts
• Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting team growth
• Keeping up to date with relevant training and legal developments
