Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners?

We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community starting in April 2025. This is a full-time role with the possibility of an extension in September 2025.

About the Role :

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons, ensuring that young learners meet their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in the development of students' academic, social, and emotional skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 students
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom
  • Support students' emotional and social development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities

About You :

  • We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Year 1 Teacher who will inspire and motivate young children. The ideal candidate will be :
  • Enthusiastic and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
  • A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and students
  • Able to adapt to the changing needs of children, fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Reflective, with a commitment to personal and professional development
  • Experienced in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1

    • Key Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to teaching and learning
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their educational journey
