Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post 16)

Location : Newcastle

Salary : £75 - £100 per day

Contract : Full Time / Part Time

Start : ASAP / September 2024

GSL Education is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post 16) to support secondary schools in Newcastle .

Job Summary :

Providing guidance and support to students, helping them with their academic and personal development.
Tracking and reporting on student progress, identifying those who may need additional support or intervention.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons to Post 16 students.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.

Help with lesson planning and preparation.

Support students with their academic progress and well-being.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements :

A recent graduate with a strong academic background.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
