The School and Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's development from their earliest moments in education? We are particularly seeking someone who has experience developing the speech, language, and communication skills of young children.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in the BL3 area of Bolton. This central location is easily accessible by public transport and is part of a well-respected primary school.

Requirements

  • We are particularly seeking someone with experience in
  • Supporting speech, language, and communication development
  • Encouraging a love for reading and early literacy
  • Using play-based learning strategies to engage and support children.
  • Adapting and breaking down curriculum content confidently and clearly

Key Responsibilities

  • Work 1 : 1 or in small groups, delivering teacher-led interventions.
  • Promote children\'s language development and support reading sessions.
  • Build positive relationships with children and staff.
  • Support pupils with specific SEND needs, helping them to access learning.
  • Create an inclusive and nurturing environment within the classroom and outdoor areas.
