Job Title : SENCO – Nursery (Bristol)

Salary : £27,000 – £29,000 per annum

We are looking for a SENCO Practitioner to join a nursery in Bristol, committed to high-quality early years education where every child can thrive. The Role :

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join our dedicated team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting children with SEND, guiding staff, and ensuring our nursery continues to meet and exceed Ofsted standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and coordinate SEND provision and inclusive learning strategies.

Assess, monitor, and track children’s progress and development plans.

Provide guidance, training, and support to nursery staff on special educational needs, early intervention, and inclusive practice.

Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies such as speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate records and reports in line with statutory requirements and SEND Code of Practice.

What We’re Looking For :

Qualified SENCO with experience in early years settings, nurseries, or pre-schools.

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, inclusive education, and child development.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.

Passion for supporting children with additional needs and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Ability to work collaboratively, mentor colleagues, and implement personalized learning plans.
