Known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects, the company is now expanding its work across the education and healthcare sectors.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, including those in universities, schools, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. If you're looking to apply your mechanical estimating expertise in these sectors, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities : Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical works across a range of sectors, with a focus on education and healthcare.Analyse project specifications, drawings, and designs to ensure comprehensive and competitive pricing.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to source and negotiate quotations.Identify and recommend value engineering options to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Contribute to the tender process by producing well-structured, competitive estimates.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing structures, and material costs.Requirements : Demonstrable experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction industry.Proven track record in estimating mechanical works for universities, schools, healthcare, and hospital projects is essential.In-depth knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.Proficiency with estimating software and related tools.Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering is desirable.What's On Offer : Competitive salary of up to £60,000 (DOE) plus car allowance or company carFlexible working options, including hybrid arrangementsSupportive and friendly team environmentClear career development pathways within a growing organisationA comprehensive range of employee benefitsIf you're looking to join a company that values its people and supports professional development, apply now and take the next step in your career.Please note : You must have the legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this position
