Master’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyActive SLP license in the state of SC (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to applyExperience working with school-aged children is preferredStrong collaboration and communication skillsKnowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service deliveryResponsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disordersDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needsProvide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settingsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goalsMaintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policiesParticipate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progressStay current with best practices and continue professional development as requiredBenefits
