Job Advert – Full-Time English Teacher

Location : Northumberland

Start Date :  3rd November

Contract : Full-Time, Ongoing

Salary : Competitive, in line with MPS / UPS

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in Northumberland to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from after October half term .

The school is seeking a teacher who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4 , delivering engaging lessons that support progress and achievement in English Language and Literature. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment that values creativity, high standards, and a strong commitment to pupil success.

The Role :

  • Delivering high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing classwork in line with the national curriculum.
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their target grades, including exam preparation.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passionate about supporting young people and raising attainment.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
