Role :

We're seeking a Senior Applications Analyst to lead the support, development, and optimisation our client's organisation's critical application and infrastructure estate. You'll take ownership of complex systems, drive key upgrade projects, and play a pivotal role in service improvement ensuring that the systems remain resilient, secure, and future-ready. You'll be a trusted technical advisor, collaborating closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as SME for application services, delivering advanced 2nd / 3rd line support across
• Windows Server, business systems, and cloud platforms (Azure / 365).
• Lead and deliver major software upgrades, system integrations and migration, working with project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and security best practice using PowerShell, deployment tools (SCCM / Intune / PDQ), and cloud technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and coordinate long-term resolutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and asset records.
• Build strong relationships with senior users, suppliers, and third parties to resolve incidents and deliver service improvements.
