Vehicle Cleanliness Operative - Royal Hospital Belfast

Vehicle Cleanliness Operative required to join the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The location for this role is based at the Royal Hospital Belfast (Broadway Ambulance Station). This role is 30 hours per week and shifts are typically 8am-8pm with flexibility. This post is set to last 8 - 12 weeks. Successful candidates must be flexible to work shift patterns which may include evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is £12.31 Monday to Friday - £17.22 per hour on Saturdays - £20.80 per hour on a Sunday. Must currently hold a Category C1 driving licence as you will be required to transport the associated vehicles. The successful post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that ambulances, equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness. The post holder will prepare ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the safety and wellbeing of NIAS Staff and Patients. This will include cleaning, decontaminating, re- stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety / functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical).
