Main Duties and Responsibilities :

• Processing Supplier / Subcontractor Invoices
• Dealing with Supplier and branch queries
• Checking copy invoices to ensure no duplications
• Matching up credit notes with invoices, making sure both are on the system
• Processing Sub-Contractor Applications and Payment Notices
• Processing Sub-contractor following CIS rules
• Reconciling Supplier Statements
• Payment runs
• Ensuring that all SLA’s are met;
• Input of all invoices within 24 hours
• Queries are dealt with within the 48 hour timescale

KEY CONTACTS

Experience Previous experience of Accounts Payable

At least 3 year’s experience within a busy AP Department

Good financial / commercial / legal awareness

CIS Awareness is an advantage

Proven experience of negotiating and advising at all levels (Internal and External)

Ability to challenge “the norms” in terms of processes

Ability to reconcile complex accounts and attention to detail

Skills and Abilities Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheet literate)

Working knowledge of Navision

Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Word

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
