Job description

Overview

Lead Clinician role at Harmonia Careers. Join a multidisciplinary clinical team within an education setting, delivering bespoke assessments and interventions to pupils with neurodivergent needs and SEMH needs. This role includes line managing the onsite clinical team and contributing to service development alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

The Role

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Woodside Park School, Penge, London. The postholder will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role is split between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload. Responsibilities include delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles, coordinating line management, and leading the development of the school-based clinical service.

Our teams focus on a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach to improve pupil outcomes and independence, in collaboration with education teams.

Location

Woodside Park School, Woodside Park – Penge, London SE20 8QU. The school forms part of the Options Autism brand and serves pupils aged 7–11 in a specialist day setting.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Psychotherapist
  • Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
  • Experience with autistic individuals and / or complex needs
  • Clear and concise clinical and research report writing
  • Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
  • Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
  • Experience of multi-professional collaboration within the designated specialty
