Private Client Solicitor 4+ - St Albans

Overview

This is a new vacancy for a private client solicitor to join a leading multi-office home counties firm. Based in St Albans, this L500 rated firm seek a senior solicitor to join their team. With 4+ years' PQE, you will undertake a varied caseload including preparations of Wills and Trusts, inheritance tax planning and probate & estate administration. The complexity of matters will depend on your experience and will increase with support and supervision as your experience grows. The role requires an individual who is able to approach matters and deal with clients in a professional yet sensitive manner. The firm and Partners are all rated Tier 1 in Legal 500 and advise business owners and high-net worth individuals often over generations on both local and multi-jurisdictional matters relating to wills, estate planning, probate, trusts, powers of attorney and tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload in private client matters, including preparations of Wills and Trusts, inheritance tax planning and probate and estate administration.


• Deliver high-quality client service, communicating with clients in a professional and sensitive manner.


• Support and work with the Partners and senior team; opportunities to grow with appropriate supervision as experience develops.


• Contribute to wills, estate planning, probate, trusts, powers of attorney and tax planning strategies for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE in private client work; experience in wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and related tax matters.


• Strong client-facing and communication skills; ability to handle complex matters with sensitivity and discretion.


• Ability to work in a leading multi-office firm environment based in St Albans.


• Experience advising business owners and high-net-worth individuals on local and multi-jurisdictional matters is preferred.
