Quality Manager

We re seeking a Quality Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team of a Tier 1 manufacturing organisation that operates as part of a globally recognised industrial group. With a strong reputation for high-precision components and international operations, this organisation is a world leader, and is looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance at site level.

What You'll Do as Quality Manager :

Provide strategic leadership and direction for all quality functions across the site

Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, AS9102, NADCAP, and environmental standards (ISO14001)

Drive QMS maturity through internal audits, gap assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives

Represent the business during customer audits and escalations, ensuring robust root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective / preventive action (CAPA) processes are in place

Conduct supplier audits and oversee supplier quality performance

Promote a quality-first culture across production and engineering teams, providing training and support to quality personnel

What You'll Need as Quality Manager :

Apprenticeship or HNC / D in an engineering discipline

Proven leadership experience in Quality Management within a highly regulated manufacturing environment

In-depth knowledge of quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, and NADCAP

Strong expertise in problem-solving methodologies and corrective action implementation (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)

Hands-on, shop-floor-focused leadership style with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
