We have an exciting opportunity to join an established main contractor based in Reading. The business operates across several sectors including student accommodation, education, logistics and distribution and mxied-use residential valuing anywhere from £30mil - £100mil+. Having won a series of new projects in the region, they're now looking to expand their commercial team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor :

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within an established commercial team, procuring and managing your own sub-contract accounts and reporting into the Commercial Manager. There is plenty of scope for progression in the role, and the business is one which prides itself on promoting senior levels from within.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor :

• Manage projects through the 2nd stage tender process
• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts
