We are looking for a freelance hospitality manager who is passionate about food and events, friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to 5‑star standards. The role requires at least three years’ experience in a hospitality management position, strong front‑of‑house skills, an eye for detail, and a proven ability to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee opening and closing procedures at all events.
- Deliver an effective and informative team brief during events and maintain this standard at all times.
- Ensure all food and beverage requirements are delivered as per the client’s request or work‑order.
- Collaborate with the planning team pre‑event to allow a seamless transition for the client in line with the company’s customer journey.
- Work with operations and set‑up staff to ensure every venue is set up to the highest standards prior to each event.
- Enforce health and safety requirements during events.
- Motivate and encourage colleagues to provide exceptional service in line with the company’s overall vision to our highly valued client base.
Key Deliverables
- Be responsible for and deliver all allocated events to venue high standards.
- Ensure events run to the highest standards by being fully prepared on site.
- Maintain the integrity of the venue you are working within.
- Complete all paperwork on time and to a high quality.
- Act as an excellent brand ambassador for Flutes.
Skills and Capabilities
- Experienced and trained in the catering and events industry.
- Authoritative, persuasive, and able to lead, make clear decisions, and be accountable to staff and clients.
- Confident and articulate to act as MC when required.
- Well planned with excellent attention to detail.
- Experienced in managing time and people while being a team player.
- Possess clear and logical management experience suitable for a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional customer handling skills, responsive to client and colleague needs.
- Confident in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and drive teams to meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Flexible, adaptable, and a great coach where needed.
- Accountable for personal and departmental performance.
Requirements
- At least three years of management experience in hospitality.
- Front‑of‑house management experience essential.
- Hours to be agreed per event, including evenings, weekends, and flexibility for additional hours when required.
- Applicants must be 18 or over to work with alcohol.
