Conveyancing Solicitor (5+ Years PQE) - Progression to Head of Conveyancing

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 + Exceptional Bonus Scheme

Location : Palmers Green | Full-time office-based initially (Hybrid option once department is established)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Conveyancing Solicitor to take the lead in shaping a brand-new department within a well-established and forward-thinking practice. This role offers genuine progression into a Head of Conveyancing position , making it an ideal next step for a motivated solicitor seeking both responsibility and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop a new conveyancing function within the firm.
  • Manage a personal caseload of residential conveyancing matters with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage junior team members as the department grows.
  • Introduce and maintain effective processes, compliance measures, and best practices.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving the department’s long-term success and reputation.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in conveyancing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law.
  • Demonstrated management or supervisory experience with the confidence to lead.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to grow client relationships and deliver results.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
