Associate Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor

A respected and growing consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Cost Consultant to join their dynamic team in Cambridge. This is a senior-level role offering the opportunity to lead key projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing growth of a well-established business with a strong regional presence.

The Role :

This position will see you overseeing the delivery of cost management services across a range of public and private sector projects. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll take a hands-on role in driving project success, mentoring junior staff, and helping shape the future direction of the cost consultancy function.

Key Responsibilities :

Leading pre- and post-contract cost consultancy services

Managing project teams and delivering to time, cost, and quality targets

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Supporting business development and contributing to fee proposals

Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

What We’re Looking For :

Strong experience within a cost consultancy or PQS environment

Proven track record delivering projects at Senior or Associate level

MRICS qualified or working towards chartership

Excellent commercial awareness and project leadership skills
