Sales Executive
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Sales Executive to support the continued growth of our well established client based in Hackney, London
The role focuses on building long-term relationships with trade customers, promoting the company’s extensive product range, and maximising repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively contact existing, lapsed, and prospective customers by telephone
Promote and sell a range of products, including mouldings, mountboard, accessories, and equipment
Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions
Develop and manage a portfolio of trade accounts
Encourage repeat orders and upsell new or higher-margin product ranges
Accurately process customer orders and update internal systems
Follow up on quotations, catalogues, and customer enquiries
Maintain regular contact with customers to build strong, long-term relationships
Work closely with internal teams, including warehouse and administration, to ensure efficient order fulfilment
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and stock availability
Skills & Experience
Essential :
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with outbound sales calls
Well organised with good attention to detail
Competent IT skills (email and order processing systems)
Desirable :
Previous B2B or trade sales experience
Experience in telesales, account management, or customer service
