Job description

Entry Level LSA / TA / Care Assistant / SEND Support Worker- Required now!

Do you want to make a difference? Are you passionate about working with children or vulnerable adults with special needs? Do you have a social care background? Or even had personal experience supporting SEND? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Protocol Education are looking to recruit learning support assistants / teaching assistants to join a SEND provisions in Chelmsford, Braintree and Witham.

The students that attend the schools have a variety of special needs, including ASD / SEMH / MLD / SLD / PMLD or have been identified as having a statement of an educational need. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8 : 30am-15 : 30pm.

Responsibilities and Requirements :

  • Supporting children with special needs
  • Assisting in the development of individual learning plans
  • Building strong relationships and rapport with individual children
  • Working effectively as part of a team
