A market-leading food business is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its sales and growth strategy across multiple channels and geographies. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being close to customers, products, and teams. The business operates across branded and own-label categories, with a strong footprint in both domestic and international markets. The head office is based in Carlisle and requires the CCO to be both in the office and out with customers regularly.

Job Description

• Own and drive the commercial strategy across retail, foodservice, and B2B channels
• Lead and develop high-performing sales teams
• Build and strengthen relationships with major UK and international customers
• Identify new market opportunities and drive growth in chilled and frozen categories
• Collaborate closely with operations, NPD, and marketing to deliver customer-focused solutions

The Successful Applicant

• Proven track record in commercial leadership within chilled or frozen food
• Strong experience across retail, foodservice, and B2B channels
• Comfortable operating in branded and own-label environments
• Based in the North of England, ideally commutable to Carlisle
• Driven, hands-on, and results-focused with excellent leadership skills
