Salary : £38,333.37 per annum

Contract : Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Mech / Steam / HTHW to join our team at a HMP Swaleside a Cat B Mens prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Engineer - Mech / Steam / HTHW with any combination of :

• Two years' experience working in a role as a steam boiler operator or equivalent
• Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
• Must be familiar with and able to work to BG01 - safe operation of boilers
• Experience working on commercial or industrial steam, heating and water systems
• Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
• BOAS accredited boiler operator course or equivalent
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
