Our Client runs a prestigious Boarding School in Suffolk and is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help produce and serve nutritious meals to children, staff and visitors.

Job Description

HOURS Term Time : 35 hours per week - to be determined and agreed.

Non-Term Time Working : 15 Cleaning / INSET days per annum at 6 hours per day, spread throughout the year. 21 Summer Let days at 7 hours per day, during July and August each year.

REPORTING TO Catering Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all pupils, staff and visitors.

During term time to assist in the preparation of food and snacks on a daily basis.

During holiday time to assist in the provision of food for visitors to the School.

Counter service help to operate lunch or dinner service and to clean in between first and second sitting.

Always keeping the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and tidy state, Ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and debris.

Restock supplies as required.
