PK Education are proud to be working with afantastic special school in North Nottingham, who are looking forpassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team.

This is more than just a job - it's a chance to make a real difference in children's livesevery single day. You'll be working with Primary-aged students who are non-verbal and pre-verbal, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment.

The role can be challenging at times, but it's also hugely rewarding - perfect for someone who is energetic, committed, and wants to be part of a team that inspires potential in every child.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the teacher in class and working closely with SEND students.
• Building trusted relationships with pupils to create a safe, encouraging learning space.
• Taking a hands-on, proactive approach to get involved in all aspects of school life.
• Providing an nurturing and patient attitude to help students overcome frustrations and celebrate successes.
• Adapting support strategies to meet a wide range of needs, from autism to severe learning difficulties.
