We are looking for a Trading Operator to join the new London office of our established client, that will focus on the crude oil trading operations that will work with their global network.
In this role you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the trading team, overseeing freight optimisation, vessel tracking, and working with external third parties including buyers, sellers, shipowners and terminals.
Role Responsibilities :
- ensuring timely updates of trade information into the trading system, and lodging necessary claims against buyers, sellers, shipowners, or terminals as per the contract party. Proactiveely tracking time bars and calculating laytime and demurrage for both owned and chartered vessels
- supporting trade operations for spot and term crude oil contracts, ensuring smooth execution of shipping from the port of loading to the port of discharge, while liaising closeky with external and internal teams
Role Requirements :
previous experience of North Sea and WAF Crude Operations, in addition to strong knowledge of the energy trading and shipping environmentunderstanding of contractual agreements and GTNC, and familiarity with shipping documents and Letter of Credits
