Are you passionate about creating safe, supportive, and compliant workplaces where people can thrive? We are looking for a Workplace Compliance Manager to champion health and safety across JRF and our Group Centre. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive our health and safety culture, working closely with the Workplace Lead and our external H&S partner to ensure we meet compliance obligations and embed a positive, proactive approach across all teams and buildings. You’ll manage and promote adherence to health and safety policies, support all departments in completing their health and safety tasks on time, and track and report progress accurately. For the Homestead Park and Workplace Teams, you’ll have direct responsibility for managing compliance across a busy public park, landscaping team, community events, and several office buildings with safe and effective operational management.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and drive a positive health and safety culture across JRF and Group Centre.
- Promote adherence to health and safety policies and track department progress against timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure compliant operations.
- Support departments in completing health and safety tasks on time.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks across divisions, including public spaces, events, and facilities.
- Administer the health and safety management system and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Manage improvement works and projects, ensuring delivery within budget and timescales while complying with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Hold a NEBOSH diploma (minimum required qualification).Proven experience in health and safety management or a similar role, ideally including horticulture, events and facilities / operational management.Excellent knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures tailored to situational risk.Familiarity with administering a health and safety management system.Benefits and Additional Information
