We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people aged between 7 and 19 years in specialised settings with their overall learning development at a well-established SEND school in South East London
Location : Lewisham
Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Start Date : September 2025
Salary : from £90.00 per day
About the Role :
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND or additional needs. Your role will be vital in helping pupils reach their full potential whilst creating a safe learning environment supporting their overall wellbeing
Key Responsibilities :
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
- Supporting individual pupils, including those with additional needs
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour
- Preparing resources and classroom displays
- Promoting a positive learning environment
