Accounts Assistant

Our client is seeking a proactive Temporary Finance Assistant to join their finance team within a busy construction company based in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will support key financial operations, with a primary focus on purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and credit control.

Responsibilities :

• Process and maintain the purchase ledger, including matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with credit control tasks, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining customer accounts
• Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
