About the Role

Westway Drainage is seeking a skilled and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our dedicated and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to further their career in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out CCTV drainage inspections to diagnose and assess issues.
Conduct installation and repairs of drainage systems using hand and power tools.
Perform small-scale excavations as required.
Operate welding equipment to support structural repairs when needed.
Apply technical knowledge and basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Engage in manual handling tasks, including the lifting and assembly of drainage components, while strictly adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in drainage work.

Proficient in resolving blockages, conducting CCTV surveys, and performing small excavations.

Experience in pipe lining and patching is advantageous but not essential.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work in various environments.

A valid UK driving licence is preferred (for company vehicle use).
