What you will do :

Deliver high-quality and effective social work services that cater to individuals with physical disabilities, their carers, and families, in accordance with statutory guidelines.

Conduct strengths-based assessments and draft person-centred support plans, ensuring they align with the Care Act 2014 and promote the principles of wellbeing.

Work in line with our supervision policy, receiving guidance according to your experience to amplify your strengths as a social worker.

Play a pivotal role in safeguarding adults at risk, applying your understanding of the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Policy.

Engage in the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE), which equips newly qualified social workers for future responsibilities, building competence and confidence with a reduced caseload initially.

Champion the council's values, enhancing independence, wellbeing, and choice for individuals through a collaborative approach.
