Overview
Information Technology Service Delivery Manager – hybrid role (3 to 4 days on site). Great opportunity for a Technical Delivery Manager for a growing automotive services company. This position will enable you to implement plans to build a best-in-class IT function, leading technical service delivery and creating a modern, automated data-driven IT Service.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of technical projects and providing input into IT architecture and technical solutions
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals across support, infrastructure, and applications
- Embed a customer-first culture with a focus on proactive service, fast issue resolution, and continuous improvement
- Oversee the support of 4000 employees across multiple sites around the UK
- Ensure robust and resilient IT infrastructure, application performance, and end-user support
- Monitor, manage, and report on SLAs, service metrics, and incident resolution with a data-driven, continuous improvement focus
Your background
From a technical background earlier in your career – IT support, IT Engineering, Systems Analyst or similarStrong understanding of MS 365, CRM, Networking, and Business Systems – ideally across multiple sitesExperience moving into a business-facing service delivery role – able to work closely with senior executives / C-SuiteExperience working with hybrid environments and third-party managed service providersAbility to quickly learn and understand complex operational models, systems, and industry nuancesStrong ITIL and Service Delivery / Service Architecture skillsBackground in working in the retail, hospitality, or automotive sectorExperience in companies around 3,000–8,000 people across multiple sitesSeniority level
