Job description

Our client, a leading company within their sector, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their busy and dynamic team on a fixed-term contract for 9–12 months. The role is currently office-based in Wokingham, with the office relocating to Bracknell early next year.

The Sales Administrator will provide comprehensive support to Account Managers and the wider sales team. From managing sales data and processing orders, to preparing for customer meetings and maintaining key databases, this is a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this role is up to £30,000 plus a great range of benefits including 25 days holiday. You will working a 35 hour week with the option of a flexible start time.

Main responsibilities for the Sales Administrator role are :

Managing and interpreting sell-through data, identifying trends, and producing weekly / monthly reports.

Preparing product samples and sales data packs for customer meetings.

Attending customer product selection meetings with Account Managers, taking notes, and actioning follow-up requests.

Supporting internal sales meetings with sample preparation, returns, and administration.

Processing orders and credits for major National customers via B2B and internal systems.

Maintaining internal product and specification databases, and completing new product forms for customers.

Supplying digital assets and copy for customer websites, and ensuring online content is accurate and up to date.

Handling trade enquiries received by phone, email, or post.

Coordinating the movement of sales samples internally and externally.

Supporting the creation of catalogues, brochures, and flyers with accurate text and layout checks.

Maintaining pricing forms and key sales documentation.

Skills required for the Sales Administrator role are :

Excellent customer relationship skills, with confidence in dealing with Buyers, Senior Managers, and internal colleagues.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

A proactive, team-oriented approach with flexibility to support colleagues during absences.

The ability to adapt and reprioritise tasks in line with changing business demands.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level, plus Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual to join a supportive and successful team on a 9–12 month fixed-term contract, initially based in Wokingham, moving to Bracknell early next year, with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum
