Basic Salary : £18.92 per hour + Holiday on Top

Job Description :

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) for a major chilled and ambient goods distribution site based inStevenage. This is a fast-paced role involving bothtrunking and scheduled deliveriesto well-known regional hubs and depots.

You will be working with barn door vehicles and tail-lifts (no curtain-siders), and will support basic load security and cage handling (wheeled units only no heavy handballing). The depot operates seven days a week , so flexibility with shift days is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly

Ensure safe loading / unloading using tail-lift and pump truck

Deliver goods to regional clients on trunk or multi-drop routes

Secure loads properly and complete all delivery paperwork
