This role
We seek a Product Engineer who bridges product thinking and hands-on engineering, understanding customer workflows deeply and translating that into dashboards, reports, and insights that deliver real value.
You will own the end-to-end process : engaging with customers, defining needs, building dashboards, and iterating quickly to create tools people love and are willing to pay for.
What will you do
- Engage with customers directly through observation and interviews to understand how they use reports and dashboards.
- Define clear reporting needs, including the business insights and actions reports should enable.
- Build and ship high-quality dashboards and reports that address real customer problems.
- Document product details : descriptions, use cases, business actions, and case studies.
- Estimate pricing and value for reports (e.g., $99 / month) and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
- Implement automated checks and monitoring to ensure internal consistency and detect sync issues promptly.
- Collaborate across teams to embed free reports into the product experience (e.g., MFE).
Your skills
A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).A product mindset—deep understanding of customer needs, value, and usability.Hands-on skills to design, build, and iterate dashboards / reports, blending engineering and analytics.Strong communication skills in technical and business contexts.A bias for action—comfortable with problem-solving, customer engagement, and delivering results quickly.Experience with data pipelines, BI tools, or analytics platforms is a plus.Note : If you lack some skills but believe you're outstanding for this role, please apply.
