Workshop Technician

A leading technical services provider is seeking a Workshop Technician to support equipment preparation, maintenance and logistics for field operations. This permanent role is based in Ellesmere Port and plays a key part in ensuring tools and machinery are safe, functional and ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare, test and maintain mechanical equipment for field use and rental

Manage inventory records and asset tracking

Coordinate repairs and servicing with internal teams and external vendors

Support shipping, receiving and workshop documentation

Maintain workshop cleanliness and vehicle upkeep

Assist with tool delivery and pick-up (some travel may be required)

Requirements :

Strong mechanical background with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems

Experience in tool repairs, inventory control and workshop operations

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Valid UK Drivers Licence

Positive attitude, team player and reliable work ethic

Willingness to complete technical and safety training

Weekend work may be required occasionally.
