Housekeeper

Housekeepers required!

Salary : £12.45 per hour

Location : Durham, DL3

Hours : Monday - Sunday 6am - 5.30pm (shift, rota)

Till December 2025 (will possibility of extension)

Reporting to the Housekeeping Co Ordinator, then the Welcome Managers and then the Visitor Experience Manager you will be part of a team maintaining a 7.5 acre site.

A good level of physical ability is required for the role with the site being so large and spread out.

A level of initiative needed to work without instruction in moments where common sense is required.

A level of flexibility from early morning shifts to day shifts is needed to fill in gaps on the rota where necessary.

Over the festival period (the latter end of September) we will be welcoming visitors from across the globe which is of huge importance to the site and it's reputation.

We need it to be at it's best which means attention to detail particularly maintaining meticulous high standards of cleanliness.
