Support Worker - Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Location : Heathfield

Salary : £90 - £100 per day

Contract Type : Temporary (opportunity to become permanent)

Start date : Flexible

At term time teachers, we are seeking a compassionate and patient Support Worker to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will play a vital role in supporting children's development, promoting their independence, and ensuring they are safe.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide 1 : 1 or small group support to children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments.
• Support children with personal care, mobility, feeding, and other daily tasks where necessary.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and self-confidence.
• Use communication tools to support children with speech and language difficulties.
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children.
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom environments.
