Job description

A leading manufacturing business in Northampton is seeking an experienced QSHE Manager to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully site-based role, so applicants must live within a commutable distance. There is no remote working option. The contract may be extended or could develop into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support production quality systems, with a focus on ISO 9001 compliance

Plan, conduct, and report on internal and external audits to maintain and improve quality standards

Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across the site

Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions

Provide guidance and support to teams on QSHE and quality matters

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a QSHE Manager, HSEQ Advisor, or similar role within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and audit processes

Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards

Ability to work independently and make an immediate impact

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

This role is ideal for a hands-on QSHE professional with a quality and audit focus, looking to contribute to a busy, dynamic manufacturing environment
