Senior Data Manager

Overview

A Senior opportunity for an experienced Data Manager with a focus on building the Data Analytics and BI function. The role joins a growing business investing in their data function and relevant teams and requires an experienced candidate to help modernise the Data Analytics and reporting function and relevant processes from the ground up. The Data Analytics Manager leads the data strategy and will be pivotal in implementing data management processes to promote data driven decision making, so previous experience in a similar Data Analytics, BI or related role is essential. The company offers Hybrid working, 2-3 days WFH each week. Candidates applying need to be commutable from Fareham, Southampton, Portsmouth areas.

Responsibilities

• Experience designing and delivering Data Insight and Analytics strategy and relevant processes
• Comfortable being hands-on as needed to create relevant dashboards (Power BI)
• Ability to translate analytics results into technical business solutions
• A broad knowledge of analytics software including Power BI, SAP, MS Fabric or similar
• Commercial experience with modern cloud platforms, Azure etc
• Commercial experience building teams or departments
• Strong data Governance, Security, and Compliance understanding
