Job description

Opened 2008. 42 Bedrooms. 58-seater Bistro & Bar. 2 Private Event Spaces - seating up to 40. A magnificently refurbished Edwardian building on the banks of the famous River Tyne, originally home to the Tyne Tees Steam Ship Company. Theres a nod to the buildings maritime past at every turn. Moments from the city centre, offering views of the citys quayside and bridges. Newcastle upon Tyne is a university city and with its twin city, Gateshead, it was a major shipbuilding and manufacturing hub during the Industrial Revolution and is now a centre of business, arts and sciences.

Role

Linen Porter, Hotel du Vin

£12.46 Per Hour, 18 Hours Permanent Contract Newcastle

Working behind the scenes to ensure the HDV standards are maintained you will be a vital cog in the Hotel team.

Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for ensuring that the linen is delivered to and collected from the rooms quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist the room attendants to style the rooms with an eye for detail and a passion for cleaning.
  • Work in a team to ensure the rooms are ready on time, styled to our standards.
  • You will have interaction with our guests as a member of the team – delivering amazing service with a smile and personality.
