The company :

Join a precision engineering leader supplying high-specification components to the aerospace sector. You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team, producing small-to-medium batch, complex components for high-profile aerospace clients.

The role :

You will set and operate CNC lathes to tight tolerances, working closely with the Milling and Turning teams to deliver exceptional safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role includes setting and operating CNC Lathes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set and operate two-axis CNC lathes to customer specifications
• Work with Planning, Quality, and other teams on repeat and NPI work
• Maintain tight tolerances
• Uphold 6S standards on the shop floor
• Take part in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
• Problem-solve when setting and have a basic understanding of programming / code reading

What we are looking for :

This is a late shift role working Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1 : 30pm paying up to £19.50 per hour for the right candidate.
