Finance & Project Reporting Accountant

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job

• Responsible for reporting the progress of actual project spend against Budget / Forecast ensuring variances are investigated with clear and timely communication provided to relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for regular project meetings with budget holders to ensure accurate financial information is provided.
• Responsible for the preparation of funder reporting to support the Head of Finance with onward submission.
• Responsible for accurate and timely information required to prepare individual project Budgets and the annual Budget for Board Approval and subsequent annual Forecast for internal reporting.
• Establish working relationships with professional advisors, funders, bankers and auditors, as necessary.
