The Position :

As an English Specialist Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the literacy development of young learners. Your passion for language and literature will facilitate inspiring lessons, captivating storytelling sessions, and imaginative writing workshops. Collaborating with our skilled teaching staff, you'll customise lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring every child reaches their full potential. This is an exciting full-time position commencing in March 2026. The school aims to offer a permanent position to the right candidate, subject to successful outcomes. Additionally, we're offering a competitive hourly rate of £13.75 - £14.50.

Requirements :

• A genuine passion for the English language and literature
• Desirable qualifications or experience in education
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
